Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Safari Cafe
Yorkshire Wildlife Park is home to some of the most amazing animals on the planet, from the only polar bears in England to majestic lions, tigers and black rhinos! With expansion in the pipeline, we are pleased to have been involved in expanding existing services at the wildlife park to cater to its ever increasing numbers.
We were asked to provide an extension to their Safari Café at the entrance of the park which can be used by members of the general public as well as Wildlife Park visitors.
The café is situated in a converted barn therefore we have designed a sensitive timber framed orangery to give additional space for diners whilst taking in views of the park.
The space is flooded with natural light from the windows and large lantern light within the roof. A cosy wood burning stove has been installed to ensure the space can be utilised all year round.
