New homes for local residents !

We recently celebrated a scheme opening of the latest completed development for Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust at Latin Gardens in Scawsby , The new scheme comprises of 4 x 3 bedroom houses and 2 x 2 bedroomed bungalows for Affordable Rent and was funded by the Trust along with an investment from the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA). Attendees came along to celebrate the scheme opening including JJHT Chief Executive, Paul Dolan and Chair of the Board, Frances Street along with James Bromfield and Paul Gregory. Councillors from Doncaster Borough Council also came to visit the new scheme and meet the residents. Councillor Christine Mills from Doncaster Borough Council made the opening official and presented flowers at the home of new Residents, whilst delivering a speech to everyone involved. A great level of detail was given to the layout of the new dwellings; offering generous space standards inside and outside of the properties. High environmental features were also implemented reducing fuel bills for residents; these facilities are helping to ensure that people can stay in the same home as they approach retirement. The scheme was built by Southdale Homes and was completed in April 2014 and not only adds to the supply of quality affordable homes but also contributes to neighbourhood renewal in the Doncaster area.

This is yet another successful partnership between Building Link Design and Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust, delivering affordable homes. We hope to continue working together in the future.
