Building Link Design was commissioned to design and project manage a new housing estate in the village of Beeford, near Driffield, for JSA Developments Ltd. The scheme will see much needed quality housing stock brought to the area with the development incorporating a mix of detached, semi detached and terraced house types catering to a range of housing needs.

BLD have designed a range of house types specifically for this developer to cater specifically to the market in this rural area of East Riding of Yorkshire. We have designed the site to accommodate 24 new dwellings in a mix of 2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom homes, offering the community a variety of house types to suit all levels of the housing market. The properties to the South of the development will benefit from raised terraces in the rear gardens which will bring the residents uninterrupted views of the local countryside. With ample off-street parking and generous plot sizes the site has an atmosphere fitting of the village of Beeford.

As part of our services, we have assisted the developer through all stages of the design process including obtaining statutory approvals, cost planning and up-front negotiations with contractors to ensure the project is delivered as smoothly as possible with a viable financial return for the developer. We have liaised with local Estate Agents and CGI Consultants to ensure our client has detailed information for marketing and sales.

The project began on site in September 2017 with the infrastructure works. The first phase of housing completed at the end of 2018 and the first houses are now sold and occupied. Phase two of the development is due to start early 2019
