The clients involved in this project instructed Building Link Design to assist in creating a new dwelling that would achieve all aspects of their specific requirements and above all would become an admirable family home for them to make their own. Situated in the village of Barnby Dun in Doncaster this contemporary new dwelling was completed in April 2015, including an integral garage and a luxury south west facing garden.

The clients had a clear vision for the creation of their new home and instructed Building Link Design to develop a concept design that would turn their aspirations to built form. Further to agreements regarding the concept of the project, BLD began to design and submit the Planning Application to obtain approval for the 3,000sqft five bed dwelling which includes an impressive cinema room.

Subsequent to success in the Planning stages, the BLD design role continued to Building Regulations and working drawings, followed by regular discussions with the DMBC and the contractor involved. With this approach the scheme was delivered to the highest of standards of design and workmanship.

Overall the scheme was delivered in line with the clients’ budget and successfully met their expectations. The clients are extremely happy with their new family home and thanked BLD and the Local Authority for their hard work and assistance throughout.
