Hesley Hall
Building Link Design was highly commended at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Awards in 2008 for a carefully considered and sympathetic refurbishment of Hesley Hall which is adjacent to The Hesley Village near Doncaster.
Attached to a Grade 2 listed Chapel, the Hall required a thoughtful approach to both the refurbishment and adaptation to suit its use as offices and training/conference facility. Building Link Design have worked with The Hesley Group on numerous occasions who provide residential care for adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs with behaviours that may challenge them.
Respectfully preserving historic features, Building Link Design successfully managed the refurbishment of the Hall and re-introduced a galleried entrance area with an atrium roof light.
