Frenchgate Shopping Centre: Alterations to Former BHS Unit to Locate Flip Out Trampoline Park
As part of our continued works at the Frenchgate Shopping Centre in Doncaster, we are pleased to have assisted them with alterations to the building shell of the former BHS unit to accommodate Flip Out Trampoline Park. As one of the larger units within The Frenchgate Shopping Centre at approximately 28,000 square feet, providing a new use for the former department store unit which covered three floors was an exciting prospect. As part of our remit we have assisted with obtaining planning permission for an altered exterior store frontage and the technical detailing of alterations within the unit including stripping back existing floors and structures.
Frenchgate will be the first shopping centre in the north to welcome this type of operator and is also pioneering the first change of use of this kind for a former BHS unit in the UK and Ireland. We are all looking forward to its arrival this Spring.
